Refund and Credit Policy
Credit corrections, cancellation and cash refund requests.

Credits and cash are different
AI KDP BOOK distinguishes releasing unused credit reservations, correcting settled credits and refunding money paid. Restored credits do not confirm a cash refund. Welcome and other complimentary credits have no cash refund value.
Failed or cancelled work
Qualified components delivered within the accepted scope remain chargeable even if other parts fail and a print-ready book is unavailable. Unused reservations and failed or unqualified components, including dependent charges, are released or corrected. A previously charged component later found unqualified can also be corrected. Subjectively preferring a different qualified result does not automatically reverse its charge; requesting a new version needs a new quote.
Cancellation stops unsubmitted work; in-progress work requires reconciliation. Check task and credit history and report missing releases or duplicate charges. Recovery within the original scope must not be disguised as a requirement to buy more credits.
Purchases and refund review
Real purchases and automatic cash refunds are unavailable until payment arrangements and the applicable refund policy are enabled. Displaying prices or a request form does not authorize payment or promise a refund.
Where purchases are available, checkout disclosures, this policy and mandatory rights applicable to the transaction govern. There is no universal 14-day period, promise of proportional refunds on all unused balances, or blanket exclusion after use. Subscription cancellation stops future renewal; it does not itself reverse an existing payment. Benefits normally continue through the paid period.
Request review through support tickets or support@aikdpbook.com, with order/task references, amount, date and reason. Do not send card numbers or passwords. Review considers original payment, delivery, earlier refunds and applicable rights. Credits connected to the request may be reserved during reconciliation; unrelated batches should not be frozen for that reason.
Approval, submission to a provider and completion are separate stages. Completion requires confirmed processing; your bank/provider determines when funds appear. No automatic approval or arrival deadline is promised. Seek updates through the same support channel if a request fails or needs more information.
Non-waivable consumer remedies remain unaffected. See the terms and privacy policy.
